Gene Siskel Film Center The Gene Siskel Film Center is located in the heart of Chicago's bustling downtown, within walking distance of hotels and restaurants in every price range. The historic Marshall Field's department store is one block away; the Art Institute of Chicago is also close by. At the end of the day, catch a play at one of the downtown theaters, or stroll over to the lakefront for the ultimate city view. (Note: The Film Center is fully wheelchair accessible.) Getting to Chicago By Train: Fifty Amtrak trains arrive or depart Chicago daily. By Car: Driving directions are available from the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau website. Getting to the Gene Siskel Film Center By Bus: Many CTA bus routes stop along State Street, Michigan Avenue, Dearborn Street, and Clark Street. By Car: Public parking lots are located at the corner of Wabash and Randolph Streets and at the corner of Dearborn and Lake Streets.
